Our Story

Kim robbinsI am Kimberly Robbins, and I am the creator of Communication Partner. I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for the past 13 years. I have worked with stroke survivors and brain injury victims and know what a challenge recovery can be for the survivors and their families.

I am passionate about helping people recover from strokes and traumatic brain injuries.

I developed the Everyday Objects video about four years ago. I was familiar with many of the great software programs available for aphasia therapy. However, in my experience, many of my patients could not or would not use a computer. I created my video to be an easy, non-intimidating way to help these people.

My video has helped hundreds of people in the last few years. In May of 2008, I released two more videos. My hope is that these videos will help even more people recover from the isolating effects of aphasia.
